Daze Out (Original Poem)

January 28, 2017

Written by @linzo

I lumber in vain for my bodily toil

A sweaty misgiving without a coil

In the land without friendship to spoil

My days of searching are over

As my body wearily cowers to cover

Like a mortally wounded delicate clover

Fatigued to grace in daily longing

I carry around my empty lodging

In a daily daze that I keep dodging

Captured in a state of desperate surrender

No further options left to ponder

In a soothing kiss of night so tender
