Wounds of Contradiction(Original Poem)

Yonder, an endless maze of knowledge

Of a self yet to be discovered

Living on the fringes of insanity

Hidden within mass fancies

Retching, kicking and screaming

Rhythms of longing and seeking

A sunken state of self discovery

As bodily desires take a back seat

Nourishment found in soul ravines

Tethered with pain and despair

Daring a soul to face its destiny

To home whose memory lies unscathed

A lead, a rope, anything for a helping hand

To tug a heart to a well of comfort

Push and pull an amicable force

That binds the wounds of contradiction

Please take a look at my book here.
