Footprints of Fear (Original Poem)

January 7, 2017

Written by @linzo

Scrambling, falling, in a search for my feet

Reaching out with a shredding heart beat

A brush with mortality, no mean feat

A call to action, illusionary aid no more

Exposed windows free to explore

Bravely intact, a necessary chore

Fiddling fingers gauging grip

Nothing more, left to rip

In a world where greed is a trip

A catch of death, in a forged blink

Plain lives signed, in bloody ink

Circle of fear engulfed in a rink

Blind with fear we stumble to walk

In a whirlpool of confusion tongues to talk

To play the illusion in the perfect stalk

Please take a look at my book here.
