In a Curious Game of Life (Original Poem)

Written by @linzo

Many are ways that I have suffered

Paving a way for others where I have failed

Deep within the crevice of my soul

Pain has painted walls of remembrance

In colours that only the soul can see

Marked by a timeless feel

On a bed of awakened sorrow

Warmth for the receptive heart

Harnessing wisdom of knowing oneself

Being, in accepting perceived obstacles

That tease the folly out of tired folks

Hanging their boots in utter surrender

Ready to engage the unfathomable

In a curious game of life

Enjoyed this poem, check out my book here.
