Touched by Silence (Original Poem)

November 20, 2016

In silence I grow, creating a mold

Firm within myself to count at ease

Pondering the pause within each breath

Grateful for one more breath, for I still live

Paced by time yet still existing in

A warped illusion, mapped by egos

Mysteriously sipped within our minds

As silence keeps its secrets hidden

Traced in spaces beyond our imagination

Expansive in reach, yet open to

The humble mind that accepts its place

As a receiver, messages intact

Ungraspable by any sense

Yet we still depend on its existence

A rhythmic pause between each dance

A heart beat in tune with the seasonal changes

Please check my book out here.
