The Potter’s Hands (Original Poem)

Stirred by hunger to create, a potter

Takes on the clay, accompanied by passion for guidance

Knowing the journey but not the destination

Holding out for joy in experience

Molding clay to rhythmic tunes

Matching the universal flow for all

The potter is a master of seasons

As timing determines outcome

Potter and pottery in a natural dance

Patterns of mergence rising

In a deliberate attempt to curve his destiny

In fragile beauty

Temporal in nature, potter is all too aware

As hands caress the clay with tenderness

In humility and gratitude of beauty

So intact, at the potter’s hands

Please take a look at my book here.
